Classics on the Contemporary Stage

Classics on the Contemporary Stage explores how classical texts can be placed in dialogue with the present. Led by Dino Mustafić, participants will examine the relationship between text, director and audience through discussion and practical stage work.

Working with selected scenes, the masterclass will explore new ways of reinterpreting classics through contemporary theatrical language and aesthetics. Designed for directors, actors and theatre professionals.

Dino Mustafić (b. 1969, Sarajevo) is a theatre and film director from Sarajevo. He has directed over 100 productions and led the MESS Festival and National Theatre Sarajevo. He is a lecturer at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo.
